Precision
casting, also called as investment casting or lost waxing casting,
is a casting method in which fusible one-off mould and one-off
pattern (core) are used to shape casts. Casts produced with
this method have smooth surfaces, accurate dimensions and
high geometrical precision. This method is suitable for shaping
complicated thin-wall parts, instrumental to improving product
performance, reducing structural weight and manufacturing
cost, so it’s applied more and more widely in industrial production.
